Job Description

IRIS St-Hubert (QC) is currently seeking a Full Time Licensed Optician (between 20 and 35 hours/ week, 1 to 2 evening/ week and 1 to 2 Saturday/ month) to join our eye care team.

IRIS Opticians work alongside our IRIS Optometrists, Manager and Team members to deliver our mission to our customers on a daily basis while adhering to the three values of IRIS; Passion, Honesty and Respect.

Our Opticians
• Offer the newest technologies in glasses, contact lenses and laser refractive surgery
• Maintain a spotless work environment to maximize the IRIS Experience
• Participate in ongoing training programs
• Build a positive working relationship with IRIS Optometrists and Team
• Contribute to monthly team meetings and coaching sessions
• Are passionate and result focused
• Work a variety of shifts (including days, evenings, and weekends)
• Flexibility to work between different locations as needed

Qualifications
• Possess Optician license in province of employment and in good standing
• Maintain current knowledge of lens technologies
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem solving skills
• Proactive decision making and ability to take personal responsibility for actions
• Retail sales skills with the ability to present and deliver high quality products
• Fashion forward sensibility and ability to deliver the IRIS Experience
• Fast learner, quick thinker, adaptable to change, attentive to detail
• A positive attitude is a must
